Nooré Studio processes personal data to fulfil orders, payments and deliveries, provide customer service, comply with statutory record-keeping obligations and prevent fraud.
What data do we process?
This may include your name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number, order details, correspondence, payment status and technical security data.
Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data for the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention and customer service. Where consent is legally required, we request it in advance.
Shopify and enhanced services
Our online store is hosted by Shopify. When you visit our online store or make a purchase, Shopify processes personal data such as contact, order, payment, device and usage data. Shopify uses this data to provide the online store, payments, security and other services.
Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled. This allows Shopify to combine data about your interactions with our online store with data about interactions with Shopify and other Shopify stores. Shopify uses this data to provide enhanced services, such as security, fraud prevention, product improvement, personalisation and—only where consent has been given—advertising and marketing purposes.
Data may be processed by Shopify and its service providers in countries outside the European Economic Area. Appropriate legal safeguards are applied to such processing. More information is available in Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy. Through the Shopify Privacy Portal, you can request information, ask for your data to be deleted and opt out of certain data processing activities.
We request prior consent for non-essential cookies and similar technologies. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie Preferences in the footer of our online store.
Withdrawal form via Jotform
We use Jotform for our online withdrawal form. When you complete this form, Nooré Studio and Jotform process your name, email address, order number, product details, withdrawal statement, and the date and time of submission. We use this data exclusively to record, automatically confirm and process your withdrawal. The legal basis for this processing is the performance and termination of the purchase agreement and compliance with our legal obligations. We do not retain this data for longer than necessary. Jotform processes the data on behalf of Nooré Studio as a data processor.
Retention periods
We do not retain personal data for longer than necessary. We retain tax and administrative records for as long as required by law. We retain customer service correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary for handling requests and maintaining evidence.
Nooré Studio currently does not offer Shopify customer accounts and does not use advertising pixels or its own analytics services.
Cookies
The online store uses functional and security cookies that are necessary for features such as the shopping cart, language preferences, checkout, payment security and protection against misuse. Consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies.
Shopify and activated payment methods may use necessary cookies or similar technologies. Nooré Studio currently does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or its own analytics services. If non-essential analytics or marketing cookies are added in the future, they will only be placed after valid consent has been obtained, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of its processing or data portability. You may object to processing and withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent.
